We have stayed at a number of all inclusive hotels in the Caribbean, and the food at Tropical Attitude beats them all. Facing sunrise, nestled along the East coast, Trou d’Eau Douce is a fishermen’s village and seaside resort with its still typically “Mauritius as it was” atmosphere. Stayed at the Tropical Attitude, staff were fabulous from the minute we arrived they checked us in early as they knew we were tired from the long flight. We tried it last year- this year we chose to remain in the main restaurant. I know reviewers often list endless names, but there is a reason- so many staff deserve a special mention. Vinesh & Reshma in the kitchen are wonderful and produce a high standard of food.
