I have found online videos are VERY helpful in learning how to use the software and many of the Silhouette America videos aren't so great...but bloggers are. This is the free basic version of this software. And the one month free subscription is awesome. After several emails to Silhouette at the beginning once the cutter was up and running I could then experiment with paper and cutting settings. I've had a few times where the machine doesn't recognize the registration marks, but I can usually resolve it by re-inserting the mat again, so it's a bit of an annoyance, but not really a major product flaw.
